I just put mine together but I won't have a chance to run it for another couple of weeks. I run on carpet only so I will let you know how it goes. I would like to hear how others are doing with the car on carpet as well.

I got mine through a preorder at Speedtechrc.com. If they're not in stock anywhere I believe you can get on a waiting list. I believe only around 100 kits will be shipped to the states.

Hi Guys,

Thank you all for your pre-orders. Right now we are still trying to fill them. We went through two shipments from yokomo right now and we are still working through the pre-orders. The next batch will take a little longer to arrive (we are told 2-3 weeks) but it will be a larger shipment so hopefully by then we can fill all the orders.

Hi all,

I hope that any lucky guys and gals that have a lovely new Yokomo could help me.

I'm looking at Rainbow ten web site looking for spare part for my RC12L. I found this yokomo part no SP-8413. It doesn't have any description about it. I wonder if this part is the Yokomo front hinge pins that come with graphite crossbrace and teflon washer? I looked at yokomo manual downloaded from yokomo japanese website but it doesn't have any part no. Help me,please

you can use parts from the 12L3... they use the same from suspension and t-bars.

hi rc-zombies, thanks for your answer. My car is RC12L3. I'm sure that RC12L3 parts will fit my car . It's my false not to mention about it. The problem is that I'm going to order something from Rainbow ten in Japan and also looking for some small 12L parts. The original AE part 8413 is not listed and I'm thinking about getting the Yokomo part because I like that graphite brace .

don't know that part no... wish I could help.. I order from Rainbowten all the time... if you email them before you order..I'm sure they can come up with the part no. sad part is..they are not selling the yok 12th scale car..but they do sell the silver graphite chassis set...

I can tell you know they will be the same if the part no. is the same. In Japan, AE is distributed by Yokomo, so they are all the same part numbers for the AE parts....just for the record Rainbow Ten are unreal, never had a problem, very friendly.
Also there shop is awesome, if your in Shizuoka check it out, only 100 metres down the road from the Tamiya Track and Factory...

Yeah there only selling the upgrade parts. I bought their last 12L3 2001 Special in August...basically same car as the YRX-12but doesn't have the new chassis....but should be getting the chassis parts to upgrade....
