Its Vegas. Everyone has to spend their hard earned money to keep the casinos afloat. From what I have seen of the race coverage in years past, its the desert plain and simple and is brutal on cars. No one wants to race in the sand and have a car that is that is thrashed in 4 weekends of racing.

If your traveling to Vegas and love to R/C race try bringing a 1/10th SC
truck or 1/8th electric buggy with you to 702 (indoor) R/C Raceway...

Heres a link for you. They race Wed.Fri.Sun. Enjoy"

And you will love racing SC's at 702 Raceway. This place rocks if you like
electric racing"

My wife & I ride our motorcycle 155 miles from Lake Havasu City to race
702 every Sunday morning after we race here at our track Saturday. 702
is well worth the 300+ mile round trip every week in our opinion..

Enjoy"

If I understand their webpage correctly, 702 Raceway has a in house shop. I would also asume that they cater mainly to 1/10 electric supplies.

cheers!

I work in Germany at the moment, but will be in Vegas during the Christmas holidays. I'll be packing my Blitz along with the family and will be visiting 702 Raceway. Would rather run nitro...but hey, I can do the SC thing too!

Bring you car the Silver Bowl track is still there and lots of people run on it, the city just doesn't want racing going on. There is also a 1/8 nitro track in Pahrump and Sin City RC www.sincityrc.com is working on getting a new track going and if they dont I will try.

Sin City RC racing at the Silverbowl was put on hold due to zoning issues with the county. We are working on getting racing going again as fast as we can, but in the mean time we are resurrecting racing at the famous Boulder City RC track. Our first race at Boulder City will be December 18th.

We have learned alot about the BC track, and know if it is run wet, it will hold together. Racing will start at 10am, with the track opening around 8am.

There is a track in Parhump, but they race over other saturday. This Sat is a race. But its probably 20 minutes away from the ranch. RC is to expensive to visit the Chicken ranch if you ask me.

the Pahrump track is www.windwaterrc.com

www.sincityrc.com has the complete race schedule for southern nevada.
