Default Lipo co. is my first sponsor

Hey ,

here's good news (for me anyway). http://rcbuy.vstore.ca/ has sponsored me for the 2008 season!.

I would like to thank them for their support. I'll do my best to get some trophies this year.

They've got a special on 5000 lipos (hard case) for $65 until Oct 31. check it out!!!

Ya know i'd be super interested in picking up some of those packs simply for the price....but with the leads coming out of the side of the case, I just dont know if I'm down with that...do they get in the way if they're off to the side like that?

$65 per is a deal no matter how you look at it....if there was some good evidence that showed they were the similar to the orion and or maxamps and someone could tell me if the side mount of top mount wires were no different....just might take one!

You should be able to run them horizontal and then up, if not a simple slit in the battery tray won't hurt.

$15 for shipping is pretty steep.

Looks like a great deal, but I never heard of them and lipos are dangerous. It is not worth it just to save a few bucks.

Just my $.02 and opinion.

$15 and 10 days (to most US destinations) is pretty much the standard for Canada Post Expedited mail.

Bump for Sean as he is a fine ambassador of the hobby (got me back in after a 14 year hiatus!)

Thumbs down

info here

test results

and I think that a Mod could be done (very carefully) to put the exit point of the wires through the top.

I put a small radius in the chassis on my XXXT and have had no reliability issues at all.
