advice on selling my 1/8th scale buggy!
im selling my ofna hyper 9 buggy and a lot of spares, would i be better off selling most of it together, or parting out the car and selling it all separate??
#2
Selling separate will gain the most money but you don't have a popular kit therefore it might be a hard sell. You can try and always change no rules against trying.

Alright. Thanks for the advice. I was selling the rtr buggy and spares for 300 but I guess people want something different

I would think you'd have more people interested in the whole setup ready to go.
someone looking to get into the hobby without dropping a ton on their first setup.

e-bay selling
man i would clean the poo-poo out of the car, take pics of the bottom of the chassis, the front and rear, with out the body. list new parts. pics of all spare parts. start the bid on a friday and run it for 7 days. start the bidding around 7:00 pm. and i wish u luck on ur sell. {p.s put a new clear body on the buggy. the stuff new guys look for when buying a 1/8 buggy, and add 1 set of tires good enuff to run on. it should sell 275-325. or break up the spare parts as a lot new parts in packages. then opened parts with the buggy. good clean pics will sell!!!!!!!!!} then go an buy a kyosho tki3.

Awesome advice guys! I really appreciate it! Hopefully I can give this car a good home. I have enough spares to build a whole separate car! Someone has gotta love the sound of that right??

well first off before the sale......
"Clean It".........!!!
nothing says "Cheap" and used and not taken care of when a car is dirty !!
go through "Everything"....check for broken parts and messed up bearings etc.
because the new owners will no doubt go through the car ...
plus dont have to worry bout something getting "Ugly" after the sale !
but be the same as someone selling a Nice car driven through the Mud
and Interior ripped and torn, radio not working and paint fadded and peeling
and it's a toyota there trying to sell for 50 grand !!!!.....lol
Parting out, not a bad thing but most of the time your going to be ending up
with parts you'll be stuck with? and end up throwning away sometimes...
and selling all together, a little better but depends...
but always nice to also include something for the sale...
and that will depepnd on what you may have on hand etc.
servos are always a nice touch, motors are a 50/50 thing?
since no one knows "Exaclty" how the motor was "Used"
everyone "Says was Well taken care of"......but like Gambleing
can be a "Crap-shoot"........
extra body always a nice touch....
but good luck on sale,

yeah buying used motors is kind of like buying an item without seeing a picture of it, you don't know of you're gonna get what you're told you're gonna get :/
