Prices from Japan and shipping are OK but you'll pay additional bank fees and they can't put lower prices on the package so you'll have to pay additional import taxes. If you can find a hong kong shop go for that. You can allways email them.

Because I have two each of all three sanding disks included with the whatjamacallit, I do know that their specified 320, 600 and 1000 grit papers do not match typical US measurement standards (by the square inch). Their grit numbers are far finer than what I recognize as ours. I assume that they do not go by the US inch in specifying such; so, I am guessing they use a square centimeter. In essence, I would double their grit numbers of 320, 600 and 1000 (per sq cm) to equate to ours as about 640, 1200 and 2000 (per sq inch). Their 320 grit disk is the only usable one per my diff sanding needs.

Again, their specified "320 grit" is not comparable to ours in US; and, per your statement, the same probably applies to you too.

I'm going to make my own, I reckon I have enough laying around the work shop so cost will be zero. Can buy discs from automotive paint stores for about .80c each

The sanding disks are available. Its the complete kit that's currently sold out. It will be back on the shelf by the end of April per the shop.

It seems like a ton of cash for something you can do with a piece of glass, a bit of sandpaper and an old outdrive to hold the diff ring.
It does look pretty kewl.

After having done four diff rings, I can say that it does a very good job...on good rings.

Also helped me identify that one of those four rings was a reject because its surface was too uneven.
