Robert, just wondered if there was any chance that you could have that speedo done this week. I was thinking about running Stock rubber at the Novak race this week, but I'd want to run my VFS-1

I got the serial adapter for the VFS-1 today, as well as another ESC. I downloaded the programmer, and tried to scan the site to find Hara's settings, can anyone tell me where I could get them, or e-mail them to me [email protected]

Thanks

I wont be able to make it up to SoCal tomorrow, but I will next sat. I'm gonna look over Tyree's settings, and Hara's settings, try to find the throttle points that I like from both, and make something that works good for me, now that I can tune it from my pit and not bug you guys, it'll be easier.

Also, will the higher frequency or lower frequency have more punch? I'm guessing lower, so I'd raise the bars on the program for more punch?

chris,

which part do i need to lower the freq to get more punch?

what If I want punch on the infield and speed on the straight- can I lower the freq on the first 16 and then higher the freq from 17-32? I was thinking that it was that simple maybe I am missing something.

I think I got a profile that should be pretty good for me then, as long as it makes 5 mins

exactly! thats the idea. but you can fine tune it even more than that. at the tracks i race at, i have the most punch around stage 16 (which is where you would let off half way on the throttle) and have it shoot up to drive frequency 22-24 depending on the track size, brush/comm wear and run time.

also... when i run on low to med bite tracks.. the first 2-4 stages have less punch then the rest of the stages so i dont have wheel spin.

so it would look like this...

12
12
11
11

for the first four stages. messing with the throttle response is really good too for those that run mod and can feather the throttle.

Hebiki i have the settings adapter and i used the stock setup for a tight track from the KO site. Is this a good place to start off at?

Dan,

I have tried the stock settings from the KO site. The punch is awesome but the motor does tend to get hot. I found that raising the first few lower stages about 5-8 frequencies dropped motor temp and increased battery life without any difference in punch.
