Good day for Surge at the Summer Sizzler hosted by Trackside Hobbies,
The new 3700s were just awsome all day, I qualified 2nd in stock rubber, I had a shot at TQ but the driver forgot to show up for a few rounds
Went on to win the main quite easily, as the TQ had to leave early. It would have been a good race as we were close all day. My Surge batts may have been able to give me an advantage though.
Also, Surge team driver Jason Toebe had some good runs in stock and 19turn foam, but a lot of bad luck kept him from a higher finish, definitly wasn't the batts, as he had rip all day.
Gary, thanks again and see you all in Vegas

if any team surge drivers need a room at the vegas race, let me know. I am going to have to bail on this race. Work just can't do without me. My reservations are for tuesday night thru sinday night. but I am sure that can be changed.

Talking Race Results

Hi Gary...Just wanted to give you an update from today's Snowbird Warmup at Minnreg in Clearwater, FL. I qualified 4th and finished second in the 10 car 19T A-Main. The Surge power was great and I had my fastest run ever at this track. Thanks again for putting out some awesome cells.

Chris

I'm pleased to announce next month we will be releasing the Surge reverse pulse discharge tray. The unit is superior to the current trays that are now available from various manufactures and will help you keep your packs in shape longer than any tray out there. Its main feature, the reverse pulse burst, is one of the methods we use with our battery voltage enhancement system, so to some degree you can consider it a mini battery zapper as well as a 0v discharger. It works perfectly with all current cells including the GP3300/GP3700 as well as the IB3600/IB3800. This unit is being produced on a large scale, so we expect starting pricing to be set at $79.99 retail. You can expect to see a street price of about $50-$60.

Also, as you know, we've had GP3700s in stock for a while. They've yet to be added to the website, but we have plenty of 1.165+ (1.180+ @ 30 amps) available. Currently we are out of stock on GP3300s, but will be restocking soon. If anyone needs any of the 3700s, feel free to let me know.

Finally, the website will be updated soon. Since we've got some new stuff under development we've simply been waiting to get it all done before we update the site.

Wow guys, thanks for the calls and e-mails!! As I said a while back we intend design and sell our own original stuff, this is the 3rd product that we will be carrying that has only the Surge logo behind it and doesn't belong to any other company. I think the fall season will bring some new interesting things gadgets from us... Surge will no longer be focusing on just batteries and motors. For us, these things are coming at the right time, as you can see the battery and motor market is absolutely flooded with little companies all trying to do the same thing. To diversify is good, my friends..

As soon as we get this prototype cleaned up a bit, I'll post some pics of the new tray. Just to answer some of the questions I've been receiving, it is a 0v tray, and requires 12v power. It does not use the discharged battery power to do the reverse pulse like some of the other designs out there; instead it has its own built in mechanism to deliver a significant pulse to each cell in a fixed firing sequence.
