Unregulated Lipo - 7950. NiMh/LiFe/regulated lipo - Hitec 7955 is fantastic for truggy steering. 93.99 from servo city...

http://www.servocity.com/html/hs-7955tg_servo.html

even less used...

If you want to a High Voltage setup, I would use the 7950. I 7955 has a lot of torque but a bit slower than the 7950.

Unregulated lipo is 7.4v. Adding a lipo regulator will bring it down to 6.0v so you can use non-HV servos without burning them up.

Are you talking about Nitro or E? Are you running LiPo, LiFe, or NiMh?

Also, the 7950 is only faster if you are running it on 7.4V, if run on 6.0v its the same speed but has a bit more torque...

At 6.0v, I'd go with the 7955...

Don't forget about the Savox line. They are great servos that are just as good as any out there and are a good bit cheaper. We sell them here at the shop daily and have never had a single return. That's pretty good seeing that we have sold over 200 since Jan.

+1, I got a 1258tg from hlpressley and it has been great running on LiFe.

Get the 7955. You won't be disappointed.
