The track is definitely fast. Wish I was faster on it...but Brent Calvert put down 14 laps in five minutes, with lap times around 21-22 seconds in stock truck. Very fast, indeed. Us rookies had no business being on the track with some of these guys - should have kept the rookies in their own combined truck/buggy class. Sucks for the rookies to get blamed by the experienced guys, as though we're purposely making mistakes to slow them down!

Speaking of which, I couldn't figure out why Matt wouldn't put my truck back on the straight for so long, after I got clipped into the pipes in my second lap of the main...is that what you meant by him gunning for me? Still managed to come back, though...his mind games won't work on me! Hehe...

All you guys down there need to keep us up to date with some killer coverage! They must have WiFi there (or at least tap into an unsecured one close by). Pic's and Vid's baby!

I know...Hopefully Theilke will post up on the rc10.com. His coverage is usually good with lots of pics and vids.

Someone step up and take some pics....I mean there will only be what a few hours in between rounds?

If you go to Redrc.net there is an article about the X-60 truck at this event..... with a photo from the track (allegedly)...... so someone must be there taking and posting photos!! Anyone know of anywhere with any sort of coverage???

Cheers

One of my good buddies decided to fly out for this race. Said the track is fast with lots of traction. Practice went well for him but his updated Orion 10.5 he said seems to be lacking a little vs the Novak and LRP 10.5's he watched. They seem to be able to gear 2 to 4 teeth higher whether they run lipo or NIMH. Having fun otherwise.

Pics would be cool to see what the latest and greatest is would be cool. Thought more coverage would be given to this race. Oh well good luck to all that are racing.
