This is the data I pulled from the XL2 on the 130mph run. I will say this, the more gearing I throw at it, the more Watts its makes. I need to send this to castle and ask them to decipher it.

what 8s motor do you suggest ? with a 5mm shaft . leopard ? which one ? for a 8s truggy with 2x5000 lipos

Im just using the HPI Flux 2200kv motor.

I would look into castle 1717 or the Leopard 1480kv motor

would turn at 53000rmp on 8s which is fine I think
