Ha ha nice post!

1st they would charge about $700 for it

2nd of all they would have TOTAL control of all aspects of the ESC. If you want to change any part of the control and it's performance you would have to wait for Apple to allow it.

3rd it would become pretty much obsolete after every year when they release a new one with some new bloated crap that nobody needs.

Finally it would only work with Apple approved bodies, wheels, motors, body pins etc!

HA that sounds P E R F E C T. where do I sign up to buy one?

Default Really?

I find it pretty humerous that so many people are taking the time to bash on apple. For someone to say that apple doesn't make quality products or that they would make an inferior product to some of the other products on the market is absolutely false. Is everyone of their the absolute best on the market no, but is it a very high quality product, yes.

The arguments about price. Is it going to cost more. Most likely, but high quality products always cost more and when a high quality product is backed with the unrivaled innovation, quality, and customer service like most apple products are I think we can agree that it should cost a bit more. This even applies to products running windows or made by microsoft. The better the quality the higher the price.

I've personally owned 1 macbook, and 3 differnce pc laptops. I can tell you that none of the pc's made it more than 2 years without a virus, some type of hardware breaking, or a 20 minute start-up, where the apple macbook after 3 years runs like the day it was purchased and starts in about 60 seconds.

To take the time to bash on windows for a mac lover or to bash on mac for a windows lover just means your jealous or intimidated by that company or product. To hate something, you have to care about it.

I use products from both companies and some work better than others. As far as compatibility who knows macs are compatible with windows and pre loaded with bootcamp to run windows and can also run microsoft office so why would we assume it would not be compatible with any other products?

Does it make sense for apple to make an esc or for tekin to make osx compatible software, no. Your talking about a niche within a niche within a niche. There's just simply no market for either company to oblige this request. It will most likely never happen.

Would it be cool definitely. Just food for thought.

fwiw Apple doesn't "manufacture" much of anything.. Inventec and Foxconn handle most of that..

ill pass on the $900 ESC with old technology

Default Manufacture?

Well that's kind of like saying FORD doesn't manufacture their cars because they aren't manufactured in the US, only the final assembly is done here.

I'm just curious what you mean by old technology? I think Apple is known for being one of the most up-to-date and innovative companies in the world.

Why do none apple users always make comments and say things bringing down apple but very rarely does an apple user say anything negative about a non apple product?

Haha. I have made money buying and selling apple stock, but I wouldn't be caught dead buying one of their products.

I recently bought a laptop from newegg for 700 dollars. An apple with the same components cost more than double. It came with windows, but if I wanted protection from games and viruses I could install a Mac OS.

I admit apple products are polished and effective. I bought stock because they're trendy. Every hipster I see is rocking Mac status symbols.

BashemSmashem good point! Most of them are. My point was that most of the people who have a problem with their products have never even used them.

Mahalaleel I would argue you're right but you're not really comparing spec for spec when you look at the os and software. You can definitely buy a pc with the same specs as a mac for a lesser price but that doesn't equal the same performance.

The Mac OS does run a lot more efficiently than Windows does. Running both OS's on the same machine the Mac OS will run longer faster and smoother. The only real advantage of the PC I think is for gaming and spreadsheets.

PC's are great for gaming only because it has been the platform for developers and hackers and everything is designed to run on a pc not mac os. I think over time as the % of Mac users is growing the game development will start to shift.

Another factor that goes into the price of a mac is the included software that you wouldn't normally get with a PC. You get a pretty state of the art creative suite for editing and sharing photos, music, videos and dvds that you would have to pay a lot more to get with a pc.

They're definitely not for everyone but for someone who wants a user friendly, high performing, long lasting, virus free entertainment center and personal computer a macbook is pretty tough to beat. I think a 30 second start-up after 3 years and never purchasing an anti-virus software of any kind is pretty impressive!

I didn't reference the company Apple once in my post I was specifically talking about the product 'mac' or 'macbook' and the operating system 'mac os' so what's your point? Did you think the computer was called apple?

I can understand the part about the packaged software. I'll have to wait and see if I still get a 20 second boot in a few years.

Funny cause I have both Mac and PC and prefer the PC now days. While doing action scripting on a Mac I would constantly get errors and it would crash. I ended up having to switch to my PC to finish my work. This has happened quite a few times... And if you custom build your PC it will last longer than buying some POS dell or hp. And if you are getting virus quite downloading pirate software or visiting shady porn sites. In the 15 years I have been on a PC I have never had a virus.

I will pass on Apple's esc.

This is a pretty funny page for anti mac folks lol - http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse....gi?u=macs_cant
