You should just buy the MS Upgrade kit to make it to an MSX. They are about $200USD.

just for your info, a regular 415 (non MS) converted to MSX should work just fine also..
it will actually be stiffer and be just the ticket for indoor actually

Does anyone know the part number for the chassis stiffning post for the MSX?

Britracer- I think everyone was using the chassis stiffening post from their original kits and shimming them.

Tamiya USA does not have the parts for the MSX yet. The part number of #4305556
Can someone overseas help in surfing the web to see of someone outside the US sells this part yet?
Not sure if the standard rack will work.
It actually cracked where the carbon fiber is milled so the flange on the ball bearing can sit flush with the plate...weak design

Spool
as an information, many people asked us about that, and the indoor season just started...
our spool is designed for the 415 MS/MSX version - but many people use the old suspension on carpet. the spool will also fit on the old suspension, just use the 46mm dogbones (51092) instead of the 42mm!

A few new bits shown at the Tamiya World Finals in Japan this weekend.

I have a few setup questions. I am racing foams on a high bite carpet. I am running stock with a the orginal 415 with the ms upgrade and the standard hubs and a-arms (not the lightweight) I was wondering what the effect is to run the outer hinge pin the connect the rear hub to the arm. What would the effect be to run that in the upper hole rather than the bottom hole.
I have read the setup posted earlier but I would like to know more of a setup for a U.S style carpet layout where you run D. pink orange D. pink foams and have a diff up front. What I mean as U.S. style layout is tighter more switchbacks with 180's and chicanes.
Anyhelp would be appreciated. I was Losi Xray guy untill I got smart and bought the best car out there.
One last question what are peoples thought of running the refine kit on the carpet with foams. Don't tell me well Reinhard won with it because the guy could drive a shoe box and win. I mean from the normal racer's point of view.
This a picture of the track and the layout that I am runnning on
