No no, that came out wrong. If you add .040 washers under the rear of the stock pivot block, you will have two degrees of pro-squat, while .040 under the front will give you two degrees of anti-squat. You don't need new pivot blocks. When you buy a pivot block, it will come with .040 washers.

I use small .020 washers to make 1 degree adjustments..same thing goes.

By limiting front shock travel, how will this change the handling of the truck?

Thanks,

KE

It will keep the front end flatter around corners, make the truck turn in harder, and it will put more pressure on the rear tires when accelerating instead of weight simply transferring rear-ward.

I really like running shock limiters..it will hinder the truck's bump-handling and it won't jump as well, and it might make the truck harder to drive.

There's a bunch of people trying to drag me over there this year...we'll see.

As a California surfer bum, I'm not too thrilled about sub-freezing temperatures for five days :-P

OH come on, it will be alot of fun. Question, whats the farthest East you have raced? You know the Mod Nats. will be held at the RC Planet in Indianppolis in 2006. You definately need to make the Winterfest at the PLanet. It is a great race to attend. It has proven to draw some of the best racers this hobby has to offer, Maifeild, Jesse, Kinwald, thats not all.

If I go to Planet next year it'll be for the Mod Nats..I want to make the Ohio race as well but I gotta make sure I hit up the other events on the schedule that I'm supposed to go to before anything else. January through June pretty much sucks every year, but we'll see...I want to travel more next year.

I've never raced any further east than Texas...to tell you the truth, I've never BEEN further east than Michigan! haha

Aaron-- Saw the nitro challange sign up form posted on sgrid.

Thinking of tires for the challenge. Is everyone running ifmar pins on truck these days? How long are they lasting.

Last what 8th scale tires everyone running. Panther K2 and Proline crime fighters seem to be the most popular choice right? I doubt I will get out to the dirt more then once before the challenge so I wanted to make sure I have everything I need when I arrive.

Thanks

SoFast-NT - Barring disaster, I will be there!

Casper - IFMAR Pins are becoming standard issue at gas races. I can't remember the last time I ran at Hemet and didn't use IFMAR Pins..they're dialed.

1/8th scale tires are easy. Let everyone else try 20 different brands, patterns, and compounds, put XTR Crime Fighters on, and be dialed.

So you guys are running XTR instead of M2 tires?

Also how long are the ifmar tires lasting?

Thanks

Het Aaron how about tires for ARC. I have T Bones on the truck only because that is what was on it when i got it. Using the Losi tire guide it looks like they should not be to bad though. Will i really notice that big of a difference if i go with IFMAR's or Tapers. Also what compound is everyone running? Thanks in advance, i am getting more and more determined to have some fun with this truck, i was almost ready to give up on it!
