Got some good questions regarding backlight kits. We won't offer it for one simple reason; Airtronics will not service your radios under warranty if you install these kits.
If you don't believe us, call them. You will VOID your warranty if you open up your radio and put a soldering iron to it.

Got a few racers using the BalancePro for the touring car wheels with some difficulty keeping the putty to stay on the wheel. Once wheel get dirty, putty doesn't always work afterwards. Also very little weight is needed to balance a touring car wheel.
Although the instructions suggests the use of putty, we recommend lead tape which is much more effective.
The brand that we have been using is call Head-Wayter. It is used for golf clubs which is available in golfing stores. There are others that do the same thing. Basically it is very thin lead sheets with adhesive backing that can be cut with scissors.
Use a cotton swab with alcohol, Windex or Simple Green to clean the surface. Hope that is helpful info.

We have decided again to this time to shelved the MT4 drop down project permanently with only 12 interested people.

TC6 series vertical camber kit
We got several questions in with regards to the vertical ball link mounting holes locations in relation to the stock tower holes and why we went with an inverted vertical mounting system.
First off, the pic below should clear up questions on the holes positions. We wanted a vertical camber system that would enable TC6 owners to switch over easily and then make tuning changes from that.
Second, we went inverted because it gives the racer the most tuning range available since the threaded end of the ball stud floats above the camber adapters. This gives the racer the freedom to go positive or negative from any setting.
#8 hole on the GRID camber system is a new tuning hole between #1 and #7.
In summary, you can do all the positive/negative tuning on this kit with a single length ball stud kit (Associated 10mm ballstud-short #31282) along with 3mm spacers varying from 0.1mm to 6mm.

The TC6 servo mounts are now available.
The mount uses the existing slotted holes on the bottom of chassis and positions the servo slightly away from the center. What this provides is a straighter and smoother linkage movement.
When you will notice better steering control at all times because the chassis area below the servo now is free to flex naturally.
We included M3x6 flat head screws in the kit that will give more holding power than using the shorter M3x5 flat heads.

FREE mod, Allow chassis flex under Lipo battery !
During our design and testing of the GRID single point servo mount, we did some testing to see if we could also allow for more flex under the Lipo and we did.
When you strap a Lipo battery onto the chassis, the heavy weight of the Lipo prevents the chassis from flexing freely.
After continuous testing, we found a simple FREE way of giving the chassis under the Lipo all the flex available to it.
In the picture you will see a center strip (main Lipo support) of electrical tape and small electrical squares on the inner corner (flex zone). As the chassis twists, the chassis area at the outer ends just below the Lipo does all the movement.
The layers of tape will determine how much flex you will allow the chassis. We recommend 3 to 5 layers. The more layers you use, the higher the battery but the more flex it will allow the chassis to handle. If the track is long sweep and large turns, then up to 3 layers. If the track is tight and technical then 4 to 5 layers.
After doing this simple FREE mod, your TC6 will drive so much better. Give it a try, it's FREE.
