TAO4-Pro Blue Collection (pics) forum
Hi All,
Just completed (after 12 hours) constructing my TAO4-Pro, with Blue Collection components.
The motor is a 12turn by Team Atlas, controlled by a Tekin Speed Star ESC, all powered by a Sanyo 3000mah stick pack.
Other neat stuff includes:
- blue anodized aluminum heat sink
- blue '' '' TRF dampers
- blue '' '' heat sink
- blue '' '' and carbon fibre spur gear hub
- blue '' '' rear swing shafts
- blue '' '' steering arms
- FRP double deck
And that's about it!
I've yet to hit the track, only been in my driveway for 2 minutes actually.... but I'm going tomorrow.
This thing is so cool!

I actually did have trouble putting screwing the diff. The best way is to follow their guideline, which is to use a ruler or something to hold in the side where the nut and spring goes in, then use the hex tool to screw in the little screw...

I dont think MIP makes any CVD parts for the 04 series But Tamiya does have rear cvd halves that are blue
Iso - all you need now are the blue dish wheels that Tamiya makes and you'll have almost everything in blue
Get some LRP electronic equipment, some blue batteries, and channel 6 crystals (blue on 27 band) and it'll be your own blue monster
Just kidding...Nice ride tho...wish they offered the 04R in a blue package...All I have are the blue aluminum steering rack and posts

Iso: Alright I'll try that
k_bojar: Actually the kit came with the blue dish wheels, Iso just used the other set that also came with the kit.
Haha! I'm actually turning mine into the blue monster. Been saving up for quatum and phaser which are both blue and I'll be running it on blue Tamiya 2400s
Some of the blue parts can be purchased seperately and be used on the 04R, I think I just saw the blue heat sink in my LHS.

work - all of the blue parts can be purchased separately...or, I think, in a set of just blue hop-ups...Not a complete car kit, but a complete kit of blue stuff for the 04
I tried to get the blue heat sink when they first came out, but they werent available here yet maybe in a few months or so I'll get it

Yep, I'm saving the blue dishes for competition use.
Yes, the TRF414mII is certainly one baddass machine! And very impressive...
Hey Work, I'd love to see some pics when you're done with your blue beauty... ahem... monster!
