Default New to electric racing...need help!!!

Hello all

I am very new to electric racing and I need some help. I am racing in a VTA series and want to get a brushless sytem, and lipo batteries. I am looking at Novak havoc or a Tekin system. The biggest question I have is...what size lipo should I get??? What volts, MAH?????? Any help I can get would be great.

Thanks

I would read the VTA rules to help you better plan your purchases....

Check with the track that you will be racing at to see if they have a limit on battery capacity and go from there.

Make certain that your local track follows the VTA rules or if not what are the exceptions.

True, some track's will flex the rules, but they are a good and should be reasonable to get within them. Who needs rules, I agree!!!
