Sure thing Nils,

Im building my new Evolva kit with a Delta Radio Tray, I need to put my Delta XP4 to see how much the set-up changed.

In truth, I haven't even paid any attention to the caster portion of the Hudy gauges... In fact Im going to check mine right now...

I'll post the markings on mine shortly.......

I see what you mean now Nils,

The caster settings read +10 to -10... Im calling Ralph Burch Jr and asking him why.

Hi Nils,

This is the official response I got from Ralph Burch Jr and Mike Dumas of RCAmerica AKA Hudy USA.

1/8th scale on-road cars do not use more than 10 degrees of caster.

R.B. Jr 'The most caster I've ever used is 6 or seven degrees'
'Off road cars use more than 10 degrees of caster'

Nils, what is the caster setting you see when you put your car on the set-up blocks?

Nils,

If you need more steering switch to the short wheelbase first.
If you still need more steering try the 6.5 rear block.

BTW: I put my delta on the Hudy set-up blocks and it looks like I have about 12 degrees of caster.... whatever....

Hey guys,

Anyone know what shock oil comes with the MRX4 kit. I need to rebuild my front shocks but I don't know what oil to put in them.

Default New MRX-4 driver

I just got my kit, and I'm about to put it together. I plan on racing this weekend, and I was wondering if the base setup is a decent starting point.

I would also like to know which spares I should stock.

I was thinking belts, uprights, arms, steering blocks...upper links maybe? Any thoughts?

The stock setup is very good! I'd start with that and change what ever u don't like if anything at all.
