Default Quick opinion question guys

As I probably mentioned, I plan on running the CD3 this season. I'm still a bit torn as to what to do with the LD3 (to upgrade to CD3 or not). For those of you that have driven both, is the CD3 that much faster/more balanced/better than the LD3? If it's really worth it, I may get the upgrade kit after all (it would save having to drag 2 starter boxes to the track)

Also, the folks at Nitrohouse seem to have a problem returning any of my e-mails. Anybody know what the conversion kit contains (specifically, the upper decklastic or carbon fiber)? I already know it doesn't have the 0.8 gearing, which is fine. Second, the Pro RTR kit, does that have the starter box with it, or os that just for the Pro RTR?

Pro conversion kit = graphite upper deck etc
Normal conversion kit = plastic..

BOTH conversion kits missing the new type one-way (LD3 one-way is the wong-way) so dont forget to add that to the Exhaust/manifold purchase... (kyosho 5.2 exhaust for FW05?)

Thanks for the info so far. Oh, and that mount looks sweet! Is it still adjustable (floating mount) or one place only?

I'm not overly worried about the one way either. I'll have that in the CD3 kit. The LD3 would be a strick backup if something went horribly wrong or I wanted someone else to run with me, so it wouldn't need ALL the bells and whistles. Just a few...

You can't slide the motor foward and back anymore.

Eh. If it will position it in line with the spur gears, it won't matter too much anyway. Will it also fit the LD3?

Apparently its good for "LD3, CD3, V1-RRR, FW-05 and so on" but I can not confirm this as I don't own those cars (and can't be bothered mounting a 2 speed box on my old ld3 chassis :P hehehe)

I assume the heat transfer from crank case to chassis will be a lot more with the mono bock as contact areas are greatly increased..

Whats the price on the mono engine mount?

I just got my LD3Pro 2nd hand and my first meeting was mainly fixing issues with the car since the previous owner had no idea, still got one good race in and was quite impressed. Some tweaking and further problem sorting should see better results next weekend.

Contact Nitrohouse at 800 928 0304 for pricing on the mount.

Not yet, but may take some at the track this weekend with a borrowed camera.

Already done the rear camber link mod and alloy lower arm mounts for front and rear arrive tomorrow. I'm lucky as I get parts cheap since I sell the cars. Everyone runs Mugens at my local track, so am pushing the Hong Nor product and slowly doing mine up with all the goodies. I actually sold my car to a customer and bought it back for a steal!! I told him he shouldn't buy it, but he wanted it, lucky for me aye
