re: breakage at our track
I don't think you can take much form the amount of breakage at our track. Maybe the teams should come to Idaho for durability testing . I know of a Tc3 that never breaks there too.
From what I've seen of the other cars hitting yours and Gus's (when you're lapping them) the Pro 4 has no durability problem.

I'm using a 100t Kimbrough spur, but it's right at the edge of the bottom of my 2.5mm chassis.

I'm running a Kimbrough 100t spur with the 3mm chasis, but I do know it works with the stock 2.5mm chasis also.

I'm running a 104 with the BMI 3 mm chassis. I had to bevel the edges of the spur opening in the chassis and topdeck to get it to fit. The biggest spur you can fit in the car will usually be the fastest, as it will let the motor run cooler (and thus more powerfully) with the same ratio.

Spur Clearance
Here's a quick reference chart. I'd give yourself about 0.3mm to 0.5mm clearance unless you have measured the exact thickness of your chassis and are running on a very smooth surface. The chart uses exact chassis thicknesses whereas actual chassis thickness will vary slightly.

hi erik i take it that the numbers in red are not to be used as these will exceed the thickness of the chassis
is that right.
thanks
is that right.
