Team Associated RC8.2e Thread

Which of the three indoor setups would be a better starting point at the Rc factory for the Midwest champs in January? It's a big fast high bite track. I converted my rc8be to a rc8.2e. Just need to get the motor mount. Since the manual isn't up yet, i'm not sure where to start at with the rc8.2e.

I would do that, but I don't have the manual b/c mine is a converted rc8be and it's different. The manual isn't up on their website yet either, I had my rc8be dialed. I'm just looking for a starting point with all the new parts. All I can go by is the setups on their website to start from.

I've had a couple of problems that I wanted to ask about.
The first is the servo saver bolt. It looks like the end opposite of the threaded end should have a recessed area for a bearing to sit in. Mine doesn't. It's just flat. Does this sound right?
I'd post pics but I don't have enough posts yet.
The second problem is the center diff. When I tighten the screws more than halfway in, the diff won't spin. Function checks fine with the two halves together, with no screws in. I'm going to take it apart again and rebuild it but thought I'd ask for some tips on this. The front and rear went together easy and spin freely, BTW.
This is my first kit so sorry if some of my terminology is confusing...

The servo saver should have two recessed areas to put a bearing in in the top and bottom. I would get ahold of AE. As for the diff, make sure the diff pins have the recessed slot together and that they sit all the way down into the diff. Also check to make sure that the sun gears are shimmed properly.
Decided to just order a new servo saver bolt from A Main. I have a feeling it would be a while before Associated ever sent me one.
Thanks very much for the advice.
