OK, this is seriously cool. Wonder what pricing will be. Just bought a DX3R Pro and am wondering if I should sell it...

I think Traxxas is gone the right way here. The radio remains cheap. The last TQ radio was a good 2.4 GHZ radio. It had D/R, End points, Expo etc. It was just a pain the A^& to use because it had no LCD read out. You had to climb threw blinking lights trying to adjust your settings. But driving wise it was good. Feels nice and connected with the vehicle. Unlike the horrible lag in the cheaper Flysky Radios.
If you want these advanced futures in your radio you can plug in your iphone or buy a cheap Ipod touch. Also adds telemetry.
My question is we seen the prototype hot wire pics for the iphone, we have heard about the speedpassion's bluetooth ESC's for the iphone/android.
..Really Traxxas beat some of the top names in the market to launch it
I am impressed.

I have a Iphone 4 and a HTC android phone I love them both in there own ways just I can see where the iphone will become the leader in connectivity with these devices.

I hope so, I love android but the system gets so fragmented and has so many different versions I think that is what makes it difficult.

I have an Android as well, but I would be surprised to see Android support coming here, at least in terms of the dock. All iphones are the same size and shape. On that basis alone, it would be easier to create a dock for an iphone than android. Then once you go with one platform, it would be a pain to make a dock for the other platform.
