You will like its results

They are the same 3 needle carb. It's called a J carb. The speed. Session is just black and has red ano inserts. Now there is a newer os carb, J2. But the needles are a little different more like the werks carb with a short LSN. I prefer the older J carb on my newer os engines I just like the way it tunes.

Although many like the J1 (long needle) O.S. carb, I prefer the J2 (short needle) model. EBay has them listed for $70 and worth every penny.

I'm pretty sure the one I have is the J1. I just hate how the idle screw is on the bottom instead of being on top. Its a pita to tune the idle that way. Oh well!

The J2 short needled carb is somewhat of a fuel pig
compared to the older long needle J carb. Seems like
O.S. went arse backwards with the v-spec replacement
engine. Less runtime and the never ending top end is
gone. WTF were they thinking ?

Maximo, Any idea if you are getting your modded RB Fire11s back in stock?
Wouldn't mind getting one myself.

Cheers.

They are on backorder, I should have a better ETA this week. We've already got a few spoken for.

You have an older J1 carb. The newer J1 carbs have the idle screw on the top. Like the one in the link. It has the idle screw on top.
