After much time, I am now getting back into the hobby after six years. I am getting into 1/8 Nitro buggy. I am hitting it hard into the class and I'd like to meet some dedicated racers. Currently in college but I am making the effort to get involve in my passion of remote control racing. How popular is the hobby in the Houston Area?

I'm fairly new as well and it seems to be pretty good down here, I frequent mikes in porter and the Katy track quite often, everyone that I've met so far has been extremely helpful and laid back
