ESC cut-off question

Hello guys,
I recently bought the Robitronic Speedstar Brushless Speedo 8.5t ESC and I have a big question regarding the cut off setup for battery. The manual says it can be programed from 3.0V to 6.0V. Since I am running a 2 cell LiPo battery pack, 7.4V, I want the cutoff to be at 3.5V per cell (7V total) . I dont have the option to set it up to 7V, only to 6V. Is the ESC parrametter setting (3V-6V) for both cells in pack, or only for one? Basicly if I set it up for 3V it considers only 1 cell, it will cutt off for one cell, or its 3V for both? Meaning it will go dangerously low at 1.5V for each cell.
Thanks

Set it for total pack voltage. In your case, use the 6V setting and just not run the thing to total cutoff. If you notice the vehicle slowing down, pull the battery and recharge. Cutoff is a last-ditch safety net, not a recharge reminder.

I'd want 7v as an lvc as well, but if you can't set it that high, set at 6v and watch for teh slowing that was mentioned. After a few runs, it should be easy to see and tell its time to recharge. The other way is to watch what the charger puts back in - you don't want to be recharging more than 80%, so if its a 5000mah, if everything is where it needs to be, you will recharge less than 4000mah. I typically see 3700-3800mah (an a little more) on recharging.
