Default Approximate value of used e-savage

I am looking at a used e-savage for one of my neighbors. It will be a Christmas gift for their son. It's his first truck, so it doesn't need to be a Flux HP.

The seller is asking $150, I'm curious what others think a basic e-savage is worth. If that is a decent price, I won't try to haggle too much if it is in good shape.

It is the twin motor savage, still has the original baja body, it looks similar to this one:

I don't know anything else about it yet, I'm going to check it out later today.

Thanks for the feedback.

Here is how I look at it . Someone else may think differently. I figure anything used is worth about 50% of what new is . Of course you will have variations. Is it beat? Is it just like new? Does it have upgrades ? I know some people will argue that the price is whatever the market will bear. Just my 2 cents.

I had a RTR E-Savage in nice shape with a couple upgrades i sold for $200 not real long ago. $150 isnt too out of line probably. They are fun trucks

If it's clean, running strong, nothings cracked, stripped, ex. worn out and it RTR(TX, Batteries, atleast a wall charger) then $150 sounds fair. If your neighbor or you have a 12v DC supply I have a pretty much new Hitec quick/peak prediction charger still in its original box with deans on it thay you can have for the kid for free. That way he's not waiting 12+ hours on X Mas day to run his new ride
