HAD A BIG RACE TODAY, THE RB FIRE 11 WAS A ROCKET. I WOULD SAY TOOOO MUCH FOR A BUGGY. IT RAN AWESOME TODAY.. I DIDN'T HAVE TO TOUCH THE NEEDLES AT ALL THE LAST FEW TIMES AT THE TRACK. IT WAS A TOUGH BATTLE TODAY IN BUGGY. AFTER A 20MIN B MAIN, I WAS PITTING AT 8- 8.5MINS AND IT CAME IN AT 208. EVERYONE THOUGHT IT WAS RUNNING LIKE AT 250 CAUSE IT WAS SCREAMING.

LOVE THE CLOCKED FIRE 11.

I WILL BE USING IT IN MY TRUGGY NEXT.

Ok Im truely lost for words so I will go with details, Clocked Novarossi Banito, 2058 pipe and short ofna header, m2c clutch with 4 x 1.0 springs and reg hard ally shoes ( no weights fitted ), Serpent truggy, 30% nitro 11% oil ( nitro x sss ) half bald calibers ( m2 ) 1/2 gallon of fuel through the engine, never temped over 210 f and the engine is a pure animal to drive, you be the judge.

I put my Clocked B5 in my truggy for racing yesterday. Switched to the 2013 pipe, no weights in the M2C flywheel. 2 .95 and 2 1.0 springs with regular hard shoes. Engine was money all day. 5 minute heats was coming in with just over half a tank and managed to place 3rd overall after quali's.
14 minute main so run times became a non factor. Started and stayed in 3rd for the first 2-3 laps and then a couple of mistakes by 1 and 2 allowed me to take the lead for a couple laps before my pit stop. The E-truggy in our race passed me when I pitted and since he didn't have to pit I was unable to catch him. (he came In for a stop and go but it wasn't a 10 second pit stop like Nitro has to do)
He beat me by 16 seconds so it would not have mattered anyway. Finished the race with 2nd place and never touched my needles the whole day.
Buggy wasn't so great as I ran out of fuel halfway through the 14 minute main with a stock Alpha

Can someone tell me what they use to keep the insulator from coming off the carb? I wasn't sure if I could use some CA glue or not. A buddy of mine said to use some lucky 7 but I don't have any of that at the moment.

It's an OS carb. I've got an OS speed carb I'm gonna try in my B5 pro that I got from you but the insulator won't stay on it. I was thinking I needed to glue it on there or something. I've never had to replace one either that's why I'm not sure how to do it.

Interested in this as well.

Well here is another video, 3/4 gallon mark and the Novarossi Banito is really pulling hard, cant wait for the race tune and to get it on the track.

Once it is fully tuned in your going to notice that the top end really sings.....The engine will hit a certain point where the tone will change, and the engine will start sounding like a siren, you will not be able to distinguish individual exhaust pulses, it will become one steady note....Pretty impressive when you consider how strong and tractable the bottom end is.....

I always used some "JB Weld" epoxy to glue the insulators onto
my O.S. v-spec carbs. Just spread a thin layer of the epoxy inside
of the insulator with a Q-Tip or flux brush. Slide it onto the carb body
until it seats all of the way onto the carb body. Make sure you clean all of the excess wet epoxy off of the carb body and bottom of the insulator with a damp rag. Let the epoxy set-up overnight before you install the carb on
the engine.
I have tried the o.s. carb on quite a few different engines and found
the engines always gained a little extra runtimes. Let us know if the
Werks engine gains any extra runtime using the o.s. carb.
