Discharging Lipo??

Hi Guys,
Apologize if I am repeating the same question that already answered or posted.
I'm using DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE Charger. I want to discharge my 2S 5000Mah lipo 60 C.
I have the discharge current set at 2.0 A. How about the discharge voltage? what voltage best suits this lipo.. i don't mind it take time or slow... I can wait!

The only reason to discharge lipo is to get to a storage voltage and its faster doing it in your RC unless that's some kind of prob.
I try to charge back to storage voltage rather than waste a half cycle discharging the energy.

just to make sure, you're not setting the overall voltage at 3.8v, that's PER cell.. And really, using your RC to discharge them is faster, and more fun. I don't use the storage feature unless I've charged a bunch of batteries up and then it rains so I know I won't use them for a while.

you are suggesting to discharge the lipo via RC .. just run the car around till the lipo flat out ?

your esc will cutoff the battery voltage at a safe level.. so yeah, drive your car till it hits the lipo voltage cutoff. Or use the storage feature on your charger, I'm just saying make sure that the storage voltage is 3.8 PER CELL, not 3.8V total. I usually set mine to 3.7v per cell, so the cutoff voltage for storage is 7.4v total on a 2s..

The first GTB's didn't have a LVC. call Novak with the serial number that's on the little white sticker and they should be able to tell you if yours has LVC or not.
