Default quatro charger problem HELP PLEASE

after spending hundreds of dollars on high end batteries from different manufactures, trying to find out why my 4x4 sct would always dump on the last lap in the mains. I found that my hitec quatro charger is not charging the battery all the way. no matter which port im using. the charger shows 4.2v per cell but when you check them with a meter they are only 4.14-4.17 per cell. does anyone know if i can adjust the voltage through some kind of programming or internally with a pot or something. the charger works fine besides this. HELP PLEASE. I'm tired of spending money.

3-6 HUNDREDTHS of a volt isn't your issue with "dumping" on the last lap.

Adjusting the calibration of voltage in the charge isn't an option.

Are you charging them with the balance plug connected ?

Can always try a lower charge rate, should force them to terminate later

Cheers

yes im using the balance plug. the charger says they are 4.2 per cell. i checked with a meter then put it on my brothers charger and it confirmed the meters reading. his charger put and extra 220mah in the battery.

I'm not sure, but these type chargers seem to have a calibration menu of sorts. You hold the inc an dec buttons down and power up - it supposed to bring up a calibration menu - if it does, what you do after is guesswork. Try searching on RCGroups in the batteries and charger therr - I know the Quattro is discussed over there -0 see if you can find and calibration info.

Good luck
