Default Lipo storage question- temps

I was just wondering if cold is bad for lipos? I store my lipos in my garage inside 2 lipo sacks. I'm wondering if the cold weather is bad for them. Winter is coming after all.
Thanks
Mark

Depends how cold your garage gets. A lot of plane guys store them in the crisper of their fridge (lower humidity). Not sure if this helps with todays lipo media. Freezing temps are still a big no no from what I've heard though.

At storage voltage and in the fridge is fine, use a ziplock freezer bag

Slowly bring them back to room temperature before charging them

Cheers

Funny how most manufacturers recommend storage at room temperatures between 40* and 70*F for best results.

YMMV
