Hard to tell, I can't find a 3 cell 5000 25c, on their site, maybe you were just trying to disparage my purchase?

Man, I can't find one anywhere, do you have a link? And Venoms prices are almost exact to the Traxxas.

I asked that question on the Traxxas forum, lets see If I get an answer. Might be banned for posting that question, very picky over there!

Got my answer from Traxxas

Hello,

That is the problem with a lot of what you read online. It is incorrect information probably posted by a kid just so he had something to post and then quoted by others. The Traxxas LiPo packs are some of the highest quality packs currently available on the market.

Best regards,
Steve Lindholm,

Respond to Steve and ask him who makes the cells !

Until someone pulls a pack apart and checks the label on the cells everyone is just guessing

Until you see someone measuring the cell IR (Internal resistance) or a discharge graph showing the full rate, again just guessing

They may well be quality cells but as always buyer beware

If Traxxas will not release the name of the cell supplier what have they got to hide ?

There are only a handful of cell manufacturers out there

They will need to be very good to compete with the Gensace packs, currently the best "bang for buck" out there

Cheers

The Traxxas cells are not the same cells as Venom cells to clear things up.

Many of their claims about pack construction is merely pointing out things that are standard already on most packs on the market. Technically not false, just uh...stating the obvious.

Their oversize tabs for example are in fact no different in size or thickness as others on the market. I have compared.

Performance, well, I have some graphs at work, though I suspect will looked biased being that I work for a competitor.

Thanks Paul, I pretty much knew that. I just wanted to see what kind of answer and info I would receive from them.

I know that, no worries, I just wanted to show the answer, which wasn't much of one to be honest, I wasn't directing his answer towards you, strictly info.
