Hi,

working on a losi truck. it has a traxxas titan 12t 550 motor, had a xl5 esc in it. but that was too much for it. put a tazer 12t esc into it and now it recognizes the motor. but runs on its own. steering works but no real throttle control. any ideas? tried several esc's but no real solution. Do i need to solder a positive lead from batt to motor?

Did you calibrate the radio to the esc?

Yeah. It doesnt go to the flashin red light on the esc to do the throttle motions to continue.

Just read the procedure for the tazer 12t and it doesn't mention any flashing red led. It says the red and green should both be lit after you push the setup bottom.

that worked. thanks. so now what if i accidentally replaced a titan 12t 550 motor in a slash with a 21t titAn motor. any probs with this?

No issues I can think of, it's just going to be slower.
