i think i want to get into the shortcourse action, i'd like to run something in a 17.5 class.

of course the factory team sc10 would be the easy choice for me because all i really race is associated. but i think maybe i'll try another brand.

i'd like your (rchr racers) opinons, pros and cons of the sc10, xxx-sct and the ultima sc truck.

thanks!

I hope they do, i kinda found it to be alittle confusing on the eyes & also it makes short-cuts too easy in the heat of a battle... Anyway, its a great track & a great group of ppl.!

Racers opinions will always be biased on the brand that they run.
I will tell you, get any if those three, read a tuning guide and any of three can feel exactly the same.

Here us your real Pro's and cons

1) SC10 FT will be "almost good to go" out the box, but since you run associated, you can use what u have to tune (ex : springs, etc)

2) Kyosho "SCR" us a butter truck out the box, but now you will need metric tools and spend a little to tune it, but same stuff as associated.

3) XXX SCT is awesome , provided you have TLR tuning kit and a few other goodies. There is no ball diff unlike the FT or SCR above. And graphite parts are essential for indoor trAcks like ours.

Hope this helps, I've ran all three trucks.

As Brandon said, all three are great trucks provided that you take some time to dial them in....

Having that said, get the SC10, you know you want to....

+1.

Definitely drive one. They can all be tuned but take a few for a spin. You are more than welcome to try my SCR if you'd like.

Hey guys, long time no see. Weather permitting I may come up to race this Wed eve. Haven't been there in months, what's the dirt surface like at the moment? Mini pin tires (Holeshots, DD's) or Suburbs, Barcodes, etc.? Also, has 4wd SC been making a regular showing? Thanks.
