Glad you guys are excited. So am I.

So today I headed out and set up the track real quick, tested the scoring system, house transponders, PA system, and made a layout. Decided to take some pictures so you all can get an idea of layout and size. The lanes are about 10' wide and the straight is about 110' long.

I'm debating on either running the track the other direction or moving the booth down a little bit for that very reason. LOL The driver's stand is also going to be moved to put it a little more in the center and less issues with trees.

Probably better you run the track clockwise since thats the way most tracks run charlie liked to switch it up sometimes and run the other way people were like i cant run that way it feels weird LOL. Either way it will be fun

That's the primary plan. After all, it's not an oval.

Great racing out there with everyone today! I hope next time we will have a better turnout. Anyways we all got 3 qualifiers and a main, which made for more fun and to top it off cart racing @ pole position was free for the winners!

It was a pretty full heat of carts! We all gunned it at the start, making our way thru traffic! But half way thru traffic, we all got stuck behind a back marker. Me and Steve got around after after two laps of follow (very tight course btw!) Aaron couldnt get around! That left Steve and me to Duke it out. I tried taking the inside line in a s curve that eventually leads to the straight, but I just couldn't make the pass entering the straight! I did this for 5 laps! Steve held strong and kept his line, so he took top honors, I got second, Aaron got third! RC racing followed by cart racing made for an awesome day! Can someone have that much fun in a day?
Answer: YES!
