That CRC chassis looks the same as the current chassis to me, it appears a tad longer because of the photo angle. I doubt its changed. Remember, having a chassis thats too long makes the car feel lazy, and the rules dictate a certain max wheelbase. I also have a faint memory of one of the Calandras saying that they weren't going to lengthen their car wheelbase at some point a few months ago (maybe longer) in opposition of the current trend. I will note this: My current Gen-XL is nearly exactly the same wheelbase as my ancient Carpet Knife 3.2.
I stand corrected, but it looks like the XLi will be a conversion kit as well, hopefully. I probably wont bother, what I have is good enough to compete for the win where I race. I also like the way that the current bodies with the short wheelbase put more downforce on the rear at speed, gives my cars a predictable push at the end of the straight.

Hey guys i noticed in some of the pic on rc50 from the icc in vegas Pauly L. and Josh Cyruls 1/12 cars they had lrp mounted with reciever packs.. Paul you could def tell he was running a SSx SS with a fan mounted on the chassis anda reciver pack.. Now joshs you cant tell what lrp speedo it is but he also has a fan mountto the chassis and a reciever pack.. i thought you could not use packs or werent suppose to? Is there a way to or gain from it?
I was always under the impression that ifyou used a rec pack with the sxx series it wouldnt work, or workright,or damage the speedo? Do you do it just like you would anyother 1/12 rec pac?.. or doyou have to disconnect something?
I know nothing about the LRPs specifically but I have never heard of an esc that could not ever use a rx pack. Even if the BEC just has to be bypassed to make it work, you just pull the red wire out.
Hey guys question,
For 1/12th 13.5 boosted which motor would be better?D3 13.5 or the Revetech 13.5 this is on a 100'x45 indoor carpet track. Also which rotor would be better the one that comes with the motor or the 1c high rpm rotor?
