I will note this: My current Gen-XL is nearly exactly the same wheelbase as my ancient Carpet Knife 3.2.
was talking to frank at the track he said the car was 4 or 5mm longer then the stock GenXL get ready to get new bodies when they bring out the GenXLi

I stand corrected, but it looks like the XLi will be a conversion kit as well, hopefully. I probably wont bother, what I have is good enough to compete for the win where I race. I also like the way that the current bodies with the short wheelbase put more downforce on the rear at speed, gives my cars a predictable push at the end of the straight.

Yeah, the great one has thrown down a very well-composed Associated 12R5.1 inline on a few occasions, and been very smooth.

I've heard through history, the best 2wd buggy racers were always very good 1/12 drivers also.

blue screw---receiver pack with sxx stock spec equals run time. in mod 1/12th we are pushing so hard and with such high bite and the speeds we are running you need everything you can get...ie fan rex pack..etc, etc...

I was always under the impression that ifyou used a rec pack with the sxx series it wouldnt work, or workright,or damage the speedo? Do you do it just like you would anyother 1/12 rec pac?.. or doyou have to disconnect something?

I know nothing about the LRPs specifically but I have never heard of an esc that could not ever use a rx pack. Even if the BEC just has to be bypassed to make it work, you just pull the red wire out.

On many ESCs you simply don't switch it on, but use the RX pack switch.

Hey guys question,

For 1/12th 13.5 boosted which motor would be better?D3 13.5 or the Revetech 13.5 this is on a 100'x45 indoor carpet track. Also which rotor would be better the one that comes with the motor or the 1c high rpm rotor?
