I see a picture of one at IIC, anyone know who is there with it? would be interesting to see how they do.

I think the price is justified, try and design and build it yourself, you'll spend 10x.

seems like its so easy to turn this car to belt drive!

I just went through the assembly manual and there's only one word in my mind: awesome!

Excelent piece of engineering. It's this kind of innovation that has kept me in this hobby for almost 30 years now.

What I especially like about this car is the suspension, if you take out the dampers and spring thing then. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for the big manufacturers and they put some proper race car suspensions on their cars. The current suspension systems is almost unchanged since 2004, and so underdeveloped.

Bushing R and bushing S generate different friction under operation.

S-type makes suspension a little bit stiffer.

Our low friction plastic C-drives save outdrives but are not so durable itself.
I can recomend it for stock motors.

Like the earlier post, I see that most of the layouts that Ivan used now seem to use the longitudinal layout.

What layout do you prefer Oleg, or is it a case of use stock with longitudinal, and transverse for modified.

What about the torque created by the shaft - have you overcome that diseways pull?

I can see that this is my friend Steen Graversen's cars, so the belt car is not a 3 year old prototype, Steen transformed the shaftdrive car to belt by him selve.
