Default Need quick advice on an e-savage

I have a guy offering me his e-savage for $150. Stock with 3 bodies and 4 batteries. Looks in decent shape with some run time- used but okay looking. Is this a good deal? Or should I pass on it? I need quick replies, Im supposed to give him an answer after 2 pm. Thanks!

no don't do it. the savage xs is a better truck. save your pennies for that rather than getting a cheap headache.

I could barely get $200 for an E-Savage ready to run with a brushless in it.

Weak Diffs, weak driveshafts, and not in any way compatible with a standard savage.

Offer your 'mate' $80, if he's smart he'll take it.

I sold a stock, nice condition E-Savage for $200 just a couple months ago. They are great trucks IF you leave them stock. If you want to put a brushless system in it, you will start spending money upgrading driveline parts, but if you run it stock it will give you many trouble free hours. They are pretty darn fast with nothing more than a pair of 2s lipo's also. I liked mine and the truck was very durable other than the driveline not being able to handle more than stock. The E-Savage does have all different parts than any of the nitro savages or the savage flux though, so if you pick it up, just remember nothing is interchangeable. Id offer him $120 and I think that would be a pretty good deal. They normally go for $175-220 or so on ebay.
