Will qualifying be rocket round or ifmar style? I ask as rocket round would better suit those who can not make a two day event but would still like to have a chance of making a final.

Qualifying will be similar to GP, rocket round / best heat so if you can't make it on Saturday your still in with a chance on the Sunday.

Michael,
Is it possible that you mean there will be SILENT Auctions throughout the day, rather than DUTCH Auction?

A Dutch auction is based on a decreasing asking price until someone accepts and makes a bid. I am not trying to be a smartarse, just trying to make sure everyone is clear.

A silent auction is (as the name suggests) a standard auction format without the yelling and screaming.

Given the aim is to raise as much as possible, I imagine the silent auction format is the one you are looking at running. ( happy to hear if this is not the case)

Thans for that michael. want to get there early enough to enter and maybe have a little practice. Looking like a great event for an excellent cause for ray's family.

Just ideas for those who want race a car, which can’t get enough numbers to make a class.
Seems like Dan G wants to race WGT and Badman wanna try 235mm, but I’m sure we can’t get 8 of them to run as a class, so how about mixed class of WGT, 235mm, Fwd TC, Mod mini and 103/104/109GT put together and call it “2WD EP” class?
I don’t really care 235mm laps me twice, this is more of fundraiser right? It’s just few mates running around and have a bit of fun, no strict rules. I’ll bring my FWD TC.

Hi Michael - There was previously talk of the track being sprayed with goop, do you know if this is still happening?
