Futaba Rebate Program
#1
Does anyone know the in' and out's of the Futaba rabate program? I tried to contact them to find out and couldn't get anyone who had a clue. Does it matter what 2.4 system you send in? As in how much money you get back. If you perchase a 4PK and send in a Specktrum system do you get the $150 back? Has anyone done this yet. Thanks for any info.

It only applies to older FUTABA 2.4 radios. No Spektrum radios or modules.
Example; A Futaba 3PK with a FASST module = yes. A Futaba 3PK with a Spektrum module = no.
Same with the air radios.

From what I understand based on OP's explanation, he was referring to the
Futaba Trade-up Program. It clearly states that "The following manufacturers will be accepted: Airtronics, Spektrum, JR, Hitec, MultiPlex and KO Propo".
I also contacted them and DX2.0 with SR300 qualifies.

I think you are either wrong or referring to some other program.

Over the last month I've sent two e-mails to Futaba asking a question about their excepted manufactures and I have never got a reply back. Not to reply with even a "no" or "sorry", this is just BAD customer service. It's making me question even getting a Futaba radio if this is the kind of service I can expect.
