Default EOS0606i AC/DC Charging Lipo Error

Hyperion EOS0606i AC/DC .I just went to charge my 3s 5000mah lipo at 3 or 4 amps i believe. and i get this error. Check Battery Open Circuit. I dont understand what that mean? Anyone have a clue? I charge with a Balance all of the time. Sometimes it will not give me the error because i mess around with it like i try to clean the balance and the power ports.

My battery:
Venom
3s Lipo
5000 mAh
11.1v

Justin,
What plugs are you running on the battery? Have you been able to isolate the issue specifically to the balance plug, or the input leads?

Let me know your result, either PM or email me at [email protected] and I'll help where I can.

Is this the only battery you use? If not, is it the only one giving you the error?

This error indicates an open circuit in the battery , leads, or charger's output. If you will check the battery with leads partially pulled and can get a volt reading when started then the trouble is in the charger and may or may not be an actual open circuit.

Try a few different battery settings and duplicate on types, voltages, ect.

Several guys including myself use the same chargers and we get that error from time to time. We always find out it was a bad charge lead or broked balance circuit wire somewhere.
