So another mellow euro style track it sounds like. What do you mean by "doing the best we can with what we have." What more do you need to build a fun, true American style rack? Are you trying to make it 1/8 and 1/10 short course friendly?

We need more dirt in thee track itself to build tons of jumps. That is all I am saying, but ARC Raceway is Nothing like euro tracks and in & years ARC has pumped out like 15 factory sponsored drivers, we must be something American to accomplish that!

+1, everybody has the option to go wherever they choose. I think it's cheesy to get on a forum and cry about what you don't like about xx track. Just go somewhere else.

Thanks for being honest. Out of the local tracks ARC has had the chillest layouts now I know why. I dont remember them being like this when it re opened at Vail but could be my memory?? Your layouts are surely fun but could use some more air here and there. I am from Thunder Alley and know I cant compare the two. I understand they are two totally different tracks.

No "waaambulance" just observation and trying to push a different style track which I noticed more people than I would prefer. That's it. I don't like it but don't dislike it. I couldn't get enough of the northern IE and OC gentlemen to come to the Sunday sizzle. I wanted to practice Saturday camp out with the elders and race Sunday but it's a no go. I'm sure it will be a fun day of racing on a good layout. Have fun and hopefully the "waaambulance" dosent need to show up!

Yes, it needs to be SC friendly as well....

I dont see the point of super huge jumps... dont see where HUGE jumps make them American style. I've seen Euro tracks with huge jumps and or lots of jumps to. Just my observation, and I remember a time when tracks were nothing like they are today.

Having jumps that are "make or break" isnt any fun IMO..... flow, speed and rhythm makes for better racing in general to me.

I agree Steve , Flowing tracks make for better Racing. Big make or break jumps are fun at times but being tenths of a second from your competitor is what really makes it fun.
