TLR 22T – Spy Shots from LRC!
LRC reports – “Rumors have been circulating heavily over the last 3-4 days on whether or not there will a stadium truck version of TLR’s highly-popular “22″ electric buggy. Well, we can now confirm that the TLR “22T” does, in fact, exist. The vehicle was spotted this afternoon at NorCal Hobbies as the TLR team arrived to prepare for ROAR Electric Off-Road Nationals. As the TLR crew began unloading equipment, a stray box was left open just long enough for us to catch a glimpse of what appeared to be a brand-new stadium truck body. The box was quickly closed. In fact, TLR is being very secretive about the vehicle.
We approached several drivers as they arrived and questioned them, but all declined comment. Knowing that the truck (or at least its body) was in attendance, we staked out the TLR van and were able to catch a few spy shots of one of the prototype trucks. Stay tuned to LiveRC.com all this week for more info and pics of the new vehicle, and to watch the 2011 ROAR Electric Off-Road Nationals! The most noticeable difference of the truck compared to its buggy counterpart seems to be the front spindles, which feature an in-line setup.”
