There isn't a website. Open practice is from 9am til dark? $10 for non members, $5 for members. $35 year membership. You get one free practice day a month with membership. Come on out, I should be there around noon. Look for the car in my avatar. Myself, Data, rc_alan, and eddiethefish should be there.

Practice on weekdays from Tues-Fri. 12 noon til dark. They have power that they run from the tower. I'm not sure about off-road if they have power down there. They do have tables at the off road.

Default Latest about the timing equipment

After our last race and seeing how bad it could be we took another approach. We started runing mock races and gathering more information on how the system works. We have done this about 5 times of more.

Sunday with the help of several racers we did put it all together under actual race conditions.

We had three qualifers for sedans and all were posted without a hitch.

We even tried late entries and were able to put them in the last round of qualifiers.

The mains were posted and again there were zero problems.

Walking away from the track Sunday we for the first time felt we have a handle on the program.

Once everyone takes the time to look at our print outs and understand where the information is you will all see that everything you want to know is on the print outs.

There were a couple of problems however. Once the system is started it runs pretty much by itself. However when someone asks for time to change tires or charge a battery of fix a broken car. The system and the race are delayed. This is something that is not the systems fault of the people running the race.

To prevent this in the future the answer is simple. Be prepared to run your race when called.

We will be running on the 20th of June. So come on out and lets see if we have improved.

I'm not sure when they run off-road races. It's pretty inconsistent. But lately they have been having them on friday nights. I think it's 6-12am?

Terry, glad to see you guys got everything working ok. I'll be there on the 20th.

Default We set up again today.

F.Y.I.

We set up again today Sunday the 13th and practiced some more. So far so good. We have learned even more about the equipment. Yet we know somewhere someone is going to look at all we've done and want something more or something we didn't think about yet. Hey what the heck, that's why we run races so we can learn from mistakes and look forward to the day all goes as we all want.

So if you can make next Sunday lets see where we are.

We know it is Fathers Day and a lot won't be able to make it. For those of you that can lets have some fun.

Default Sunday results from C.P.R.C.

We had a small turn out which we expected, what with Fathers Day and all. Also thinking back on how last months race was run.

However with that behind us we had a good day. We took a little extra time to try a couple of things, late arrivals and switching cars around and all went off without a glitch.

We spread out the entries a little more than we should so as to give us a better feel on how to treat a bigger crowd. Ran three rounds of qualifying and simulated thirty 1/10 scale sedans as well as twenty 1/5 scale. Two mains A and B for both and we were done by 2:30.

Other than the issue with personnel transponders and as we will not have rechargable again all went very well.

So next month July the 18th will be our next race. We hope to see everyone again and we'll see if we have gotten better.

New old guy.

By the way anyone out there who would like to step in and start to learn the system and help out with running races contact me and lets talk. Tim Johnson and Ken Clark are not enough. We would like to have one more person to announce.

I think it may be a good idea, now that I remembered their
Race Schedule... What do you think?

We may be at Rev on Saturday and then run at Crystal Park
Sunday...
