The 'Stein was fine, again. And what about the Chicago guys, one is sponsored by Kyosho. Erik, Scotty and Josh all outqualified them all.

Doug,

This was their first time to the Rockpile, what do you expect? Practice was very limited due to the weather. Not trying to make excuses but they were all dissadvantaged a bit. Qualifing is only half the battle anyways. Its not the hardest thing in the world to put together a good 5 minute run, 20 is a whole other story.

Wow if this banter is anything like the ego's or pride at the rock pile I may just as well go to Nitro Farms and skip the marcca soaps...

I so hate people who take this crap just too seriously, and it definitely pushes new people away from wanting to come out and participate. For the simple fear of paying to have to deal with some arrogant egotistical bitch trying to explain why he is so much better than you or explaining that you suck and that’s that.

That’s what I get from these last couple posts... just rings too familiar with past tracks I was at years ago. But eh... its what I've come to expect from marcca, so no surprise or dissapointments here. (cant be dissapointed when the status quo is already pretty bad)

So please dont let me disrupt this lil pissing contest.

Umm It was more a commentary on the Marcca crowd in general, theres always one or two dudes who seem to try and ruin it for others (from what I have seen over winter). Many personal bitch fests, or pissing contests happen in public where its open to multiple interpretations like here.

And to be honest, your post DOES come off just as I called it, but if it was mis interpreted because you were working out some personal bitch between you two... maybe it shouldn’t have been in public view?

I'll call posts how I see them, and your lil banter above definitely isn’t something that one would consider productive or encouraging to help people become faster.

I'll prolly meet you at some point and may think different then, but your posting above defnitely comes off as I called it.

I raced all winter at the electric truck stuff at Marcca, raced nitro Stadium truck 4 or 5 years ago in ... I think it was Waukesha... sorta foggy from back then. And run Nitro sedan now down at the Den. (and if I get free time 1/8th buggy some place... which is the reason I read this thread)

So yes I race (but will never call myself a racer), and am quite a nice guy, but have a real bitch with bastards at the tracks who don’t realize this should be a hobby for fun, not a tool for measure'n penis length or what ever phallic number or spec some people feel the need to prove.

Just as you said, I’ve lent people parts, tools, heck even engines, and complete kits and am the first to admit I know jack about racing. I do R/C for fun, and enjoyment and the challenge. I also help others with knowledge I gain from the experience. I also dont try to work out personal issues in public view... which ironicly this seems to be almost forced to be now by you...

Don’t get bent on me now that I pointed out you were being a jerk in public view. I just call em as I see em. Obviously you don’t like to be told that you are hurting the track you run at by posts like this... so I wont try and explain that anymore. Figure it out yourself.

I just go to race and have fun. Smack talk is smack talk.

Clegg go and check the track out.,it is a fun and friendly atmosphere.

As far as Jesse and Josh. I stay out of the "Who's got a bigger D!ck" war of words.

I always remember that it is just racing expensive toys

Hoosier, I concur and essentially that was the point of my original post. I am in this for fun, and life is too short to deal on weekends with people who dont know this is a hobby or people are here to get better. ( or to just chum around with other R/C geeks...) hell thats my main goal for going to tracks, its more fun than actually racing for me at times.

Which is the main single reason I take such issue with those who try to talk down or supress others for ego reasons as it seemed from his posts) Ive had a couple friends (and myself) leave the hobby 4 years ago because they got tired of those kind of people, and dont want to have the same thing happen again.

hehe, well since I never once directly called you anything more than Josh or Mr H in the last post or the posts before... you must have associated the names to you on your own I was just explaining the kind of posts/people that disturb me at events and that your posts pretty much gave the impression you would fit the bill.

Stick my nose where it doesn’t belong? Sorry if you think that, but I wasn’t getting involved in your banter with the other guy. I was pointing out that your attitude is bad for business for the track/club etc... Since I have an interest in driving at the track, have raced at Marcca before, I take an interest in calling people out when they act in a way that would perpetuate the thought by others that Marcca is a constant soap opera.

Since Ive been in R/C since 1994 or around there, and have seen tracks/clubs come and go from a few bad apples, you can sort of understand that I am naturally irk'd by seeing stuff like above. I don’t have a problem with you, I just have a problem with the post, and the arrogance that could be seen in those posts. That is why I replied in the main thread.

If you want, in a couple weeks, we can talk about this face to face. I have no issue explaining my reasons for all this to you in person. Better than carry'n on in here.

Well I never said you said anything bad against those items... just that your post could hurt them by giving an impression that, thats the kind of folks at the track.

Also understanding the past is an easy way to make sure you don’t make the same mistake in the future, that’s the ONLY reason I cited the past stuff.

Blah - removed some stuff... more text that didnt help end this
