I need a little setup help. I have been struggling with clearing a jump section at our track and I am not sure what to do... I need more distance by a foot or two... This is just our club track so not a ton of people to reference at the track and the ones that are clearing it are using a 22.
This is 17.5 with open speedo so I cannot just throw a bigger motor at it
front
1-O
1-A with 2 washers
0 toe
-1 camber
axle middle
30 degree caster
2 bump steer
Rear
1-I
1-B with 1 washer using C hubs and ground down ubrace
-1 camber
medium wheel base
3.5 degree toe
2 anti squat
I have 25mm ride height all around and a 6" wing with 5mm lip
brown springs front #1 piston 30 weight oil with 3 limiters
Kyosho dark yellow rear #2 piston 27.5 weight with 2 limiters

Looks like the previous big bore convesation died in this thread, so I will revive it. Considering purchasing TQ racing big bores. Has one tried to bolt them on, or any other big bore?
I haven't heard any whisperings from my AE contacts of big bores being releaseed anytime soon (or ever)....

You can run lipo... but i doubt the ESC in that model has a low voltage cut off. You would need to pull the car off the track before it got below 3.2v per cell. Go lower and you risk damaging the battery, of even sending the entire car up in flames.
I highly recommend investing in a brushless setup with lipo LVC, and a lipo battery. ESPECIALLY if you plan on racing.

Have you tried a matched (frequency) set of stiffer springs all the way around? I suppose you could try dropping the oil weight a touch. There's a tough step up after a hair pin that I always struggled with. Watching most of the local fast drivers, they were all sliding wide in the hair pin to run up a bit more speed.
