I use Mamba Max Pro, Awesome Esc for Mod!

I currently use the LRP SXX V2 TC Spec, but I have used the Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro ESC with great success in the past as well . Both are smooth and have solid braking power. I've seen the Viper ESC's do pretty well locally too.

Speed Passion its great and for the price you can get a speedo and motor for the price of some speedos.

LRP SXX all the way hassle free on setup just adjust your gearing and profile to soothes the track. Awesome break...

I have seen it the other way around as well... SP speedos thermalling but there are many variables that cause that.

Just a tip: Alot of people hear keep saying "get a 4.5". If you are new to mod start with a 5.5 as it can get similar lap times but be far easier to drive. 4.5 is for when the motor is holding you back.

4.5T will be a lil too fast if your new running MOD trust me lol.. It took me quite a while to to train my finger to get off the throttle lol... I run 17.5 boosted couple of weeks ago after have been running MOD lately man they are slow lol... I just got tired of making a slow motor fast lol...

I was running 17.5 boosted for about 5 race meets and now running mod I started with a SP 4.0 and loved it.

is the SXX TC V2 worth the extra £90 as the older SXX is on offer at the moment.

I have heard people saying they believe the SXX V1 is better than the V2 period. Usually the newer version offers something better though.

The new speedo is of course better, but if you're not racing that much you may as well buy the "old" one

I already have a SXX Stock Spec V2, says you can you that with a mod motor as long as you set Boost & Feel too '0', might try that before I buy another speedo as I might not like driving mod ?
