Default Question about battery charge Adapter

Well today was going great until I found out that my receiver battery which is a: (Protek Life Hump Receiver battery pack 2s 6.6v/1700mah) does not plug into my charger.

I figured I just needed a simple adapter but when I went to my LHS he tried selling me a completely different charger because of this.

I have a Hyperion EOSO 720i which is awesome but can someone please tell me where to find a connecter for the Protek life battery pack I have to be able to fit the barrel plugs on the charger? I believe the one I have is the female version and perhaps I need the male? or maybe just the opposite?...I need to learn about the birds and the bees with this topic, lol.

I have one adapter but I am guessing it is a male and maybe need a female version? I checked the Internet and can't find anything which has me exhausted.
Here are some pictures that may help...the 1st picture shows my problem...the 2nd picture shows the adapter I already have which is not the correct one. Thanks in advance....Once again I am sure there has got to be an adapter out there somewhere.

An adapter like this will plug into your receiver pack then directly into to your charger.

sounds like you need a new hobby shop not a new charger, idiots!! The linked plug should work just fine.

It's the only Hobby Shop we have in town so besides using them for glow plugs and fuel, I really just stick to the internet. The problem is the owner and the one employee know nothing about RC cars, boats, or even airplanes...they opened the hobby Shop close to a local track purely to try and get rich off of. They only run people out and amainhobbies has made $1000's off of me because of my LHS's stupidity.

Anyway I should have the cable mentioned in the link tomorrow. Can't wait...it has been a long time since I have messed with any of my RC buggies.
Tomorrow I will be breaking in another V-Spec. Can't wait to try out the "Deuce" competition heater. Should make things alot easier.

Glad you're knowledgeable enough that you knew better. If they don't change the attitude, they may not be around for long.

Funny you mentioned that...because this particular hobby shop has been around for over 30 years,lol...I kid you not. I'm just guessing it's new employees or either they have discovered smoking crack. I'm pretty sure it's a family owned business and the grand kids are now taking over. I heard the place used to be top notch for the longest time.

Anyway, got the cable and it works perfectly. Thanks again.
