Default Is This A Good Charger?

Hey guys,
I will be using this charger to charge my 4200MaH NiMh battery by Venom. It will be arriving soon. I will buy a few more and get some LiPo's as well, so is this charger good for charging my 4200MaH battery and can it charge LiPos? Also, how long would it take to charge a 4200MaH. Thanks.

Yea, thats a great charger aslong as its real. Ive read about bootleg B6 chargers being sold. Even Hobbyking has two different ones! lol

The copied model should work out, but the real one as far as I know is a good, reliable charger. If you bought it at the link you provided it looks like you payed a bit too much thou...

The main complaint I've seen on this charger is the voltage measurement accuracy is poor impacting the balancing of lipos as well. There's an extensive thread on RC Groups on how to fix it - requires replacing some resistors internally with better quality ones, but why bother, just buy a better charger.

I guess you can try it a see how it does, the quest was asked late in the thread if the current produced ones still had the prob, but I didn't see anyone answer it. If you have an accurate DVM you can trust, you might want to check the voltage you're getting from the charger.

+2 - The Thunder AC6 would be a better choice and its an AC/DC charger - you wouldn't need a power supply like you'll need with the B-6....
