Makes sense. Thanks!

Default Loose vs tight

In the most general sense
What conditions would a loose buggy (in my eyes loose means bigger pistons softer springs etc.) be used in. And what conditions would a tight buggy be used in?

imo a "loose" suspened buggy would be best in really rough and rutted surfaces...also lower grip situations.

A "tight" buggy would be best in smoother and higher grip situations....would also land big jumps better with less body slap or bottoming out.

Default RC10T4.1

I'm thinking of buying a T4, but most of the posts on this thread seems to be about the B4. Can some share some info about the T4? I have searched and all I found was the standard Team Associated info. thanks

Sweet ride. What kind of paint is that? You are getting different shades depending on the angle you look at it. Nice.

I wouldn't use the nylon washes. Might crush during a run. Here is what I have been using. Had them left from the on road cars. http://www.losipartshouse.com/servle...12R5%2C/Detail
Hope that helps.

I lost a CVA pin tonight at the race track. It looks like I'm going to have a tough time locating a replacement, but maybe somebody can point me in the right direction. It looks like I might have to purchase a CVA drive shaft set just to get these pins. Is this the case? I'm not opposed to this, would be good to have spares anyway, but this is out of stock at my LHS as well as both of the suppliers they use, and most of the places I typically order from online are on backorder as well (tower and stormer mainly - amain has them but they won't get here in time for me to race next weekend). Is there something I could use in the mean time to get me by?

The blue ones are not one size, they come with 4 thick 4 thin. I haven't had a problem with either set.

I think I've seen rebuild kits for CVAs that come with the pins and axles, not the shaft.

They share a lot of heritage and parts. That's why there's not as much discussion about the T4 maybe. My son and I race on-road cars and off road. Our T4's are still our favorite vehicle to run.

There's a nice review of the new T4.1 in the July 2010 issue of RC Driver if you want to source that.
