Battery charger input needed
#1
I'm looking for input on what chargers to consider. I have been out of the hobby for years, so its almost like starting over.
Here's the requirements I'm looking to meet:
An AC/DC or AC only charger that could charge both lipo and nimh batteries. balancing is a plus, but not required.
and I am looking to spend in the $40 to $60 range.
I know there are better chargers out there that do more, but I don't want to invest that much so please don't recommend a turbo 35 or anything like that.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The Thunder AC6 sold by Hobbypartz is AC/DC, charges, lipo, life, NiMh and NiCd and has a built in balancer. If an when you go lipo, it will do fine on 2S lipos. Its a 50watt charger.

If you want a little a little more power, their Thunder AC680 is an 80watt AC/DC powered charger for ~$60. Either one will be hard to beat given the price and their features.
